今回ご紹介するのは、長年VESTAをご愛顧くださっている30代起業家・Mr. Oの夏のオーダージャケットです。

【The Jacket That Never Feels Tiring — and the Trousers You Keep Coming Back For】
Dressing for Success and Comfort — Tailored by VESTA
What we wear often reflects how we work, live, and move through the world.
Today, we are pleased to introduce the latest summer tailoring project for Mr. O, a successful entrepreneur in his thirties and a long-time client of VESTA.
Despite managing the demands of running a business and making important decisions every day, Mr. O’s personal style is not built around formal suits alone. Instead, he prefers a refined smart-casual wardrobe that balances comfort, elegance, and quiet confidence.
For this commission, he selected Ermenegildo Zegna’s Traveller fabric with a silk blend.
A cloth designed for modern life:
lightweight and breathable for summer, elevated by the elegant sheen unique to silk, while maintaining exceptional wrinkle recovery for frequent travel and everyday wear.
For the silhouette, we introduced gentle ease through the shoulders and chest to create a relaxed yet sophisticated impression.
At the same time, the waist was carefully shaped to preserve structure and allow a graceful drape.
The shoulder construction features spalla camicia (shirt shoulder) — chosen to pursue softness and lightness while maintaining the dimensional beauty of classic tailoring.
The result is a jacket that feels unexpectedly effortless while retaining elegant presence.
One comment from Mr. O particularly stayed with us:
“VESTA jackets never feel tiring to wear.”
Even after a long day, there is no heaviness around the shoulders.
The garment naturally follows the body, while maintaining a beautiful silhouette in every reflection.
Comfort and elegance at the same time.
That balance is one of the reasons he continues to return.
Another detail that stood out during this fitting was the watch on his wrist.
Mr. O paired the jacket with a Blancpain diver’s watch in deep navy.
Rather than treating it as a delicate luxury object, he enjoys wearing it as part of daily life.
Whether spending time with his young daughter or navigating ordinary moments that might involve a little water or movement, he appreciates having a watch that feels practical and robust while remaining refined.
That philosophy matched the spirit of this Traveller jacket perfectly.

Layer upon layer of navy created a quiet sophistication.
But interestingly, when we asked Mr. O what he appreciates most about VESTA, his answer was not the jacket.

As he explained:
“You can take a jacket off. But trousers stay on all day. That’s why comfort isn’t something I’m willing to compromise.”
