むしろ、少し肩の力を抜いた、上品なスマートカジュアルの方が、その場に自然に馴染むこともあります。
仕事を抜けて訪問する場合は、スーツで問題ありません
もちろん、平日にお仕事を途中で抜けて学校説明会やオープンデーへ参加する場合には、スーツとネクタイで問題ありません。

A Suit Is Entirely Appropriate When Visiting from Work
If a father is attending a school information session or open day during the working week and comes directly from the office, a suit and tie are entirely appropriate.
In this case, a restrained navy or charcoal grey business suit is ideal.
Avoid conspicuous patterns or excessive shine, and pair the suit with a white or pale blue shirt and a discreet tie.
This will show more than enough respect for the school environment.
